Harried in Hillsfar in Dragon+

The most recent edition of Dragon+ is out! It features all things Rage of Demons and there are a few articles of interest to D&D Adventurers League fans.

RoD Dragon PlusAside from all the great D&D news, there are a few things that you can use in your D&D Adventurers League games in the latest edition of Dragon+

First, in the Rage of Demons article there is a preview of Appendix A of Out of the Abyss, which features two new background features and alternate bonds.

Secondly, there is a list of alternate underdark spell components that came from fans in the Create a Spell Component community poll on the Wizards site.

And lastly, the Rage of Demons intro D&D Expeditions adventure written by Shawn Merwin, Harried in Hillsfar, is available for download! In addition DDEX03-01 Harried in Hillsfar has been approved for home play, effective immediately (normally D&D Expeditions are reserved for store or conventions)! Now your home group can experience adventure in the Moonsea. See below for details of the adventure.

  1. Will we see this adventure PDF available somewhere else later? Presumably this decision to open it up for Home Play (which I support 100%) is spurred by a wish to get these out to a wider potential audience, but if that’s the case, it seems a little odd to then restrict it to Dragon+ (which, as best I can tell, you can’t even access on a regular non-mobile device). I don’t even think you can print the PDF out from the Dragon+ app, can you? Seems somewhat counterproductive at the moment, so here’s hoping we see the PDF available elsewhere down the line for other people who might not have access to a participating store.
